Autoclaved Aerated Cement (AAC)

Autoclaved Aerated Concrete is an eco-friendly and certified green building material which is lightweight, load-bearing, high-insulating, durable building blocks and 3 times lighter when compared to red bricks

Features AAC Block

Sound Insulation

Tiny air cell structure provides sound abosorption qualities, ideal for schools, hospitals, hotels, IT offices, recording studio construction

Earthquake Resistant

The manufacturing process gives the blocks commendable strength, maintaing its light weight property due to which the steadiness of these blocks in a building is more reliable.

Fire Resistant

AAC blocks are suitable for use in areas where fire safety is recommended, as these blocks are fire resistant for about 2 to 6 hours depending on the thickness of the wall

Eco-Friendly & Sustainable

The use of recycled industrial waste (fly ash), non- toxic ingredients, no emitting gases, and fewer energy consumptions makes the AAC Blocks eco-friendly and sustainable

Faster Construction

Construction of AAC Blocks reduces the construction time by 20%. As different sizes of blocks help reduce the number of joints in wall masonry as well you can save time in plastering also.

Cost Saving

AAC blocks are X9 the size of clay bricks, reducing the need for mortar joints by over 66%. Reduces concrete uses up to 90% then normal clay blocks. Saves steel up to 20-25%. Due to size precision of AAC Blocks you can save material in Plaster.

Pest Resistant

The pest-resistant properties (as the blocks are made of inorganic materials) of AAC keep termites away, avoiding damages and losses.

Lightweight

The AAC Blocks are 3 to 4 times lighter than bricks, 30% lighter than that of concrete which helps in reducing the dead load of the building, there by allowing construction of taller buildings.

Advantages

Fire Resistance

Atul Green Bricks AAC Blocks provides a fire rating of 4 hours for thickness of 150mm.
This makes it one of the best building materials available in the market.

Space Saving

Better option to use thinner internal walls, 75mm instead of 100 mm and as a result there is an increase in floor space area upto 2%.

Thermal Control

Building uses approx 30% less energy for cooling and heating the interior air space.

Acoustic Insulation

Atul Green Bricks AAC Blocks provides extraordinary defence against noise pollution.
The sound reduction index is more than 40dB.

Durable

Absorbs strong impacts.
Withstand harsh weather conditions without cracking.

Easy & Fast Installation

It is easy to chisel, cut & core the AAC Blacks, as per requirements.

Wall Installation Speed

20 meter square/day.

Cost Effective

Save upto 25% in foundation cost

Quick Facts

AAC Blocks consists 80%air by volume, making it lightest available walling material (weighs 1/3rd that of clay bricks).

It is Furthur strengthened by high pressure stream curing in Autoclaves.

Formed as a result of reaction of aluminium on a proportionate blend of time, cement & fly ash, the hydrogen gas that escapes creates millions of tiny air cells giving it a strong Honey comb like structure.
